學校簡介
倫敦政治經濟學院 (The London School of Economics and Political Science)，簡稱為倫敦政經 (LSE)，創立於1895年，為全球社會科學領域首屈一指的高等教育學府。學院由西德尼．韋伯 (Sidney Webb) 與貝特麗絲．韋伯 (Beatrice Webb)，以及葛拉漢．威勒斯 (Graham Wallas) 與喬治．伯納德．蕭 (George Bernard Shaw) 共同創立，四人皆為費邊社 (Fabian Society) 的重要成員。創校理念深植於推動社會改革與公共政策發展，致力透過教育與研究促進社會公平與制度進步，該理念至今仍是學院的核心價值與教育精神。

倫敦政經的主校區座落於西敏區 (Westminster) 的克萊兒市集街區 (Clare Market)，步行即可抵達英國政治與文化地標，包含國會大廈、西區劇院與多座博物館。校區由多棟歷史與現代建築組成，自國王大道 (Kingsway) 延伸至奧德維奇街 (Aldwych) 周邊，擁有約三十棟教學與研究大樓。其中創校初期興建的教學樓 (Old Building) 為最知名的地標，其基石由英王喬治五世親自奠立。學院持續投入教學設施與住宿資源，包含新建教學與研究大樓，以及拓展宿舍與學習空間，持續提升教學品質與學生生活體驗。

環境介紹
倫敦 (London) 位於英格蘭南部，座落於英國最長流域-泰晤士河 (River Thames)，為英國首都，亦為歐洲區最具規模的現代都市之一。城市歷史可追溯至羅馬時期的建立，經歷近兩千年的洗禮，倫敦維持著世界上最重要、具影響力的都市地位，其藝術時尚、政治經濟、商業財務、教育娛樂、傳播媒體、觀光旅遊皆為世界先驅，與法國巴黎、美國紐約、日本東京並列四大國際城市。倫敦擁有世上最具規模的交通樞紐，市中心的地鐵核心系統為世界上最古老的交通建築，載客量居歐洲區第三位。大倫敦區設有多座國際機場，其中希思羅機場 (Heathrow Airport) 為最繁忙的國際機場，其次為蓋威克機場 (Gatwick Airport)。

住宿相關
