學校簡介
劍橋大學 (University of Cambridge) 成立於1209年，擁有逾八百年的輝煌歷史，為全球第四古老的大學，長期被視為世界最具聲望的高等教育學府。學校起源可追溯至離開牛津大學的學者所建立的教學機構，並於1231年獲英國國王亨利三世所頒布的皇家特許狀，正式確立大學地位。劍橋大學與牛津大學並稱為牛劍 (Oxbridge)，象徵英國歷史最悠久、最具學術傳統且國際聲望卓著的高等教育體系。

劍橋 (Cambridge) 位於英國東部安格利亞區，是劍橋郡的行政中心，為融合悠久歷史與現代創新的經典大學城。城市保存豐富的歷史建築、中世紀街道與綠意公園，展現古羅馬與盎格魯撒克遜時期的輝煌風貌。伴隨十三世紀劍橋大學的成立，城市重心轉向教育與文化發展，奠定世界級的學術地位。十九世紀以來，鐵路建設與產業發展帶動城市成長，使劍橋在二戰期間成為英國東部的重要戰略據點。現今的劍橋同時是英國頂尖的科技與研發中心，匯集電子軟體、生物科技與科學等研究領域；劍橋科學園區為歐洲具代表性的研發中心，而劍橋生醫園區則為全球最具規模的生醫研究中心之一。
