學校簡介
諾丁漢大學 (University of Nottingham) 建於1881年，為城市第一座紅磚大學，由前首相威廉‧格萊斯頓 (William Gladstone) 奠下大學基石，並於1948年獲得皇家授予大學資格。於第一次世界大戰後，學校開始進行擴建，在慷慨的傑斯‧布特爵士 (Jesse Boot) 捐贈之下，獲得廣大的土地，並將主校區遷移至市中心以西的大學公園區。大學自早期便吸引許多權威人士造訪，包含: 諾貝爾物理學獎得主-愛因斯坦 (Albert Einstein)、印度國父-甘地 (Gandhi)、小說家-赫伯特‧威爾斯 (Herbert G Wells)。

學校持續發展至今，設立多座校區:
• 大學公園校區 (University Park): 大學主校區，佔地三百英畝，座落於廣大的綠地與清幽的湖畔旁，距離市中心約兩英里，為英國最具規模且最優美的校區之一。校區保有歷史建築、同時增設現代設計的研究機構，擁有數棟獲獎的教學大樓，設有會議室、展示中心、運動中心、湖畔藝術中心、千禧公園。
• 朱比利校區 (Jubilee Campus): 學校斥資五十百萬英鎊所增設的新校區，佔地65英畝，距離主校區約一英里，為一座現代特色建築校區，因友善的學習環境而獲得無數的獎項。該校區為商學院、教育學系、電腦學系的所在地，設有創新園區、運動中心、學生宿舍。
• 桑頓博盈頓校區 (Sutton Bonington Campus): 位於主校區以西約十英里處，座落於萊斯特郡 (Leicestershire)，具備便利的公路與鐵路交通。於2007年，學校於該校區開設生物科學學系與獸醫學系，後者為英國五十年內第一所獸醫學系。校區內擁有世界級的研究實驗室、圖書館、運動中心、餐廳、學生宿舍；學生會管理約四十種學生社團，擁有學生人數近三千人。

• 醫學園區 (Medical School Campus): 於1970年，學校創建英國二十世紀的第一座醫學院，其後合併當地護理專校，設立大學的護理學系。該校區為城市皇后醫學中心的一部分，與主校區設有行人天橋，便於師生往返兩校區。此外，大學與鄰近的皇家德比醫院 (Royal Derby Hospital) 與諾丁漢城市醫院 (Nottingham City Hospital) 亦有合作，提供醫學院學生多處學習與實習的環境。
• 馬來西亞校區 (Malaysia Campus): 於2000年，學校開拓海外發展，增設海外校區，該校區位於烏魯冷岳縣的士毛月鎮 (Semenyih)，鄰近吉隆坡國際機場。

環境介紹
諾丁漢市 (Nottingham) 位於英格蘭中部，鄰近伯明罕市 (Birmingham) 與德比市 (Derby)，以知名的俠盜羅賓漢 (Robin Hood)、蕾絲製品、自行車製造、菸草產業、觀光業而聞名。身為一座多元化的城市，諾丁漢市擁有便利的交通、完善鐵路規劃，搭乘火車前往首都倫敦約兩小時。城市以悠久豐富的歷史為傲，於十五世紀時期為重點貿易區，以出口宗教主題的雕塑品而聞名；工業革命時期，織品製造業崛起，城市躍身成為國際知名的蕾絲製造中心，後期因織品產業式微，該區域已改建為優雅的生活區-蕾絲住宅區 (Lace Market)，區域內建有學校、博物館等文化教育機構。
