學校簡介
倫敦國王學院 (King's College London) 成立於1829年，由英王喬治四世、當時的首相-威靈頓公爵、以及一眾卓越的政治家與宗教人士，遵循英格蘭教會的傳統而建立的一所研究型大學。學院的創立宗旨為致力於學識的增進以及將所學貢獻回饋給社會福利，於創校初期便設立夜校，提供女性與工產階級人士受教育的機會。伴隨多年的發展至今，倫敦國王學院培養出十二位諾貝爾獎得主，位列英國古老大學之一，為英國大學知名的羅素集團 (Russell Group) 的成員，並於1836年與倫敦大學學院成立倫敦大學體系 (University of London)，為該體系的創辦元老之一。

倫敦國王學院位於倫敦市中心的泰晤士河畔，擁有五座校區，鄰近市政府、國會大樓、金融商圈、皇家司法院，為倫敦貿易商業經濟的中心，擁有絕佳的地理位置、豐富的學習資源。
• 河岸街校區 (Strand Campus): 學院的主校區，位於西敏市的河岸街，鄰近柯芬園、特拉法加廣場。校區內設有國家一級古蹟建築大樓、拜占庭的哥德式大教堂，為藝術和人文學院、法學院、自然和數學科學學院、社會科學和公共政策學院、語言中心的所在地。

環境介紹
倫敦 (London) 位於英格蘭南部，座落於英國最長流域-泰晤士河 (River Thames)，為英國首都，亦為歐洲區最具規模的現代都市之一。城市歷史可追溯至羅馬時期的建立，經歷近兩千年的洗禮，倫敦維持著世界上最重要、具影響力的都市地位，其藝術時尚、政治經濟、商業財務、教育娛樂、傳播媒體、觀光旅遊皆為世界先驅，與法國-巴黎、美國-紐約、日本-東京並列四大國際城市。倫敦擁有世上最具規模的交通樞紐，自維多利亞時期便啟用第一座地鐵、公車營運、鐵路規劃、機場擴建，市中心的核心交通系統 - 地鐵 (Underground) 為世界上最古老的交通建築，載客量居歐洲區第三位。大倫敦區共設有六座主要的國際機場，其中希思羅機場 (Heathrow Airport) 為最繁忙的國際機場，搭乘地鐵約五十分鐘可抵市中心。
倫敦為高等教育和研究中心的匯集地，城市擁有逾四十間大學，吸引眾多學生來此進修學習，較知名的學校包含: 倫敦大學學院、倫敦政治經濟學院、倫敦帝國學院、英國皇家音樂學院等。市區擁有四座世界遺產，包含: 倫敦塔、皇家植物園、西敏寺、格林尼治皇家天文台，其他知名景點: 倫敦眼、倫敦塔橋、白金漢宮、杜莎夫人蠟像館、特拉法加廣場等皆十分熱門，每年吸引大批遊客到此參觀。倫敦市內獨特的建築與時尚藝術元素十分出色，位列四大時尚城市之一，造就出許多知名時尚設計師，同時設有許多時尚藝術學校，擁有比擬法國-巴黎與義大利-米蘭的藝術造詣。藝術知名相關景點，例如: 大英博物館、國家美術館、泰特現代藝術館、聖保羅大教堂皆十分熱門。倫敦設有數十家劇院，最知名的為西區劇院 (West End theatre)，是國際優質的劇院代表，與紐約百老匯劇院齊名，經場演出莎士比亞經典名劇、以及著名作曲家安德魯‧洛伊‧韋伯的巨作。此外，還有十數個知名的芭蕾舞團、五大專業交響樂團，其中倫敦交響樂團 (London Symphony Orchestra) 為國內最古老的樂團之一，經常於世界各地巡迴演奏。
倫敦西區為高級住宅區、以及國際著名的娛樂與購物區，經常舉辦各式節慶活動，例如: 跨年遊行、諾丁漢丘嘉年華會等。最受喜愛的購物區為哈洛德百貨公司、蘇活區、科芬園等，為眾多攤販所組成的市集，為地方特色商店之一。另外知名的皮卡迪利廣場 (Piccadilly Circus)、攝政街 (Regent Street)、牛津街 (Oxford Street) 為當地著名的購物街，設有國際時尚精品、餐廳、夜店、酒吧，其中牛津街長達一英里，為國內最長的購物街。身為運動風行的城市，倫敦最著名的運動為足球，城市設有十數家足球俱樂部、以及眾多知名的足球隊，包含: 切爾西足球隊、水晶宮足球隊、溫布頓足球隊，其他運動，例如: 網球、橄欖球、游泳、板球、馬術亦十分熱門。倫敦同時是全球第一座榮獲三次奧林匹克競賽舉辦場地殊榮的城市。
學校設施
倫敦國王學院的圖書館分佈於各校區，總藏書量逾百萬，包含: 學術書籍、期刊、雜誌、電子圖書、地圖、影音資源等；各學院亦設立獨立的專業圖書館，提供學生廣泛的學術資源與學習空間。所有的圖書館皆與學院的網路連結，學生可線上查詢相關文獻與學術資訊；同時可利用倫敦大學體系的學術資源，接觸新穎的專業資訊。
學院最具規模的圖書館為莫恩圖書館 (Maughan Library)，為一座十九世紀的哥德式建築古蹟，擁有八邊形的閱覽室、花窗彩繪玻璃、鑲嵌式藝術地面，早期為公眾的檔案紀錄室，現為倫敦國王學院的主要圖書館，館內擁有豐富藏書，學術領域包含: 藝術人文、法律、數學、自然科學、社會科學、公共政策等。此外，托尼阿諾德圖書館 (Tony Arnold Library) 為法律學院的專用圖書館，收藏眾多法律相關資訊，同時為法律資訊的收藏地；精神學系圖書館 (Institute of Psychiatry Library) 為西歐區最具規模的專業領域圖書館，擁有近四萬冊書籍、近萬冊期刊、以及眾多醫療相關教材。
倫敦國王學院的學生會擁有近兩世紀的創辦歷史，為倫敦最古老的學生會之一，定期舉辦各式聚會與活動，擁有逾兩百種學生社團、逾五十種運動社團、以及公益/志工團體。學院鼓勵學生積極參與社團活動，進而體驗生活、促進文化交流；此外，學生會提供兼職的工作機會，學生可獲得實務的工作經驗。倫敦國王學院擁有優質的醫療保健中心，提供相關諮詢服務，並獲得皇家醫學院所頒發的優質獎項。
住宿相關
倫敦國王學院擁有十座學生宿舍區，提供多元類型的住宿環境。各宿舍區採用持卡式系統出入，四周設置安全系統，提供學生一處安全且完善的住宿環境。學院的宿舍單位提供住宿相關服務，負責管理各宿舍、協助學生處理生活雜事、提供校外住宿相關諮詢服務、以及舉辦社交活動。
學生可選擇包餐式或自炊式的住宿，同時提供多元房型選擇，包含: 雅房、套房、獨立套房、公寓式套房。學校住宿費用包含: 水電費、保險費、清潔費、網路費用等。各宿舍區設有眾多共用區域，包含: 交誼中心、電腦資訊中心、閱讀室、自助洗衣設備、健身中心、自行車停放區等。
適合國際學生所選擇的宿舍區:
• Great Dover Street: 位於倫敦第一區，鄰近蓋伊校區，為一座自炊式宿舍區。宿舍提供769間套房、共用廚房。學生須自行清理房間和維持共用廚房的整潔。
• Julian Markham House: 位於倫敦第一區與第二區，步行即可抵達校區，鄰近眾多知名景點，擁有便捷的交通樞紐。宿舍提供套房、共用廚房。
• Moonraker Point: 位於倫敦第一區，步行即可抵達蓋伊校區、河岸街校區以及滑鐵盧校區，為學院最新建的宿舍區。宿舍提供527間套房、共用廚房、147間獨立套房。
• Orchard Lisle and Iris Brook: 位於倫敦第一區，步行即可抵達蓋伊校區，為一座新興宿舍區。宿舍提供300間雅房、共用衛浴、共用廚房。
• Stamford Street Apartments: 位於倫敦第一區，步行即可抵達蓋伊校區、河岸街校區以及滑鐵盧校區，為一座自炊式宿舍區。宿舍提供548間套房、共用廚房。
• Wolfson House: 位於倫敦第一區，步行即可抵達蓋伊校區，為一座傳統型態的自炊式宿舍區。宿舍提供247間雅房、共用衛浴、共用廚房。
• 倫敦大學體系的學生宿舍 (Intercollegiate Halls): 提供給所有就讀於倫敦大學體系的學生入住的宿舍區，總共有近十間宿舍區，提供包餐式與自炊式的住宿選擇，提供雅房與套房的房型選擇，設置共用廚房、以及完善的生活設備，包含: 交誼中心、電腦中心、閱覽室、服務中心。
課程介紹
倫敦國王學院開設九大學院，提供多元的學術領域課程，其中部分課程內容包含國外交換或實習的選擇，以利學生增加國際經驗、開拓視野。此外，於暑期所開放的短期專業進修課程亦十分熱門。倫敦國王學院-大學部的申請競爭相當激烈，為第六大高難度申請的學府，部分課程的錄取率僅7.5%。
