學校簡介
劍橋大學 (University of Cambridge) 擁有逾八百年的輝煌歷史，為全球最古老的學府之一，悠久的創校歷史可回溯至1209年，由於牛津大學的學生與牛津市的居民發生爭執，導致部分學術份子前往劍橋而設立教學機構，並於1231年獲得英王亨利三世所頒發的皇家特許狀而正式成立劍橋大學，自此誕生英國的兩大古老學府，統稱為牛劍 (Oxbridge)。劍橋大學發展至今，已成為一所獨一無二的高等教育學府，擁有眾多知名的書院以及壯麗的典雅建築，進而吸引眾多學生到此進修，並因為卓越的學術成就與獨特的研究成果使該校成為全球最有聲望的學府之一。
劍橋大學位列全球十大學府，為英國大學知名的羅素集團 (Russell Group) 成員之一，大學招聘逾一萬名教職員、擁有近兩萬名學生，為一處多文化的國際學習環境。劍橋大學創辦至今培育出眾多傑出校友、以及專業領域的頂尖人士，包含: 數學家、科學家、政治家、律師、哲學家、作家、演員、國家元首等。劍橋大學為全球培育出最多諾貝爾獎得主的大學，所榮獲的獎項包含: 120位諾貝爾獎得主、11位費爾茲獎 (國際傑出數學發現獎)、7位圖靈獎 (電腦傑出貢獻獎)。
劍橋大學擁有獨特的行政體系，劃分為三十一所書院 (Colleges) 與六所學院 (Schools)。書院的體制類似於學院的聯邦系統，書院擁有各自的經營與管理權，具備不同的規模並規劃獨特的教學方法與多元領域的研究，學生入學時將隸屬於其中一所書院，該書院將協助學生處理生活事宜、進行學術指導、安排各式體育和社交活動，進而使學生順利融入當地生活。學院則為學術領域的主導，開設逾百所部門、以及眾多學系選擇，提供多元的領域進修；大學同時設置議會成員負責監督各學術領域的教學與研究進度。

劍橋 (Cambridge) 位於英國東部的安格利亞區，為劍橋郡的行政中心，城市擁有歷史壯麗建築、中世紀古老街道、美麗的綠地花園，描繪出古羅馬與盎格魯撒克遜的輝煌時期；城市後期於維京人的統治之下，躍身成為重要的貿易中心。伴隨劍橋大學於十三世紀初期的創立，城市開始著重於教育與文化發展，結合優良的環境氛圍，劍橋儼然成為一座大學城市。自十九世紀起劍橋市的人口急速攀升、農業產品量產、貿易經濟崛起、與倫敦相連的鐵路開發，促使劍橋於二戰時期成為東區沿岸的主要軍事重鎮，並對二十世紀有著重大的影響力。劍橋同時為高科技產業與技術中心，專注於電子產業、軟體產業、生物科技與科學的研發，其中劍橋科學園區 (Cambridge Science Parks) 為歐洲區最具規模的商業研發中心、而劍橋生醫園區 (Cambridge Biomedical Campus) 則為世界上最具規模的生醫研究中心之一。
英國著名的康河 (River Cam) 橫越整座城市，伴隨城市的交通發展，造就眾多道路建設拓展，進而擁有便捷的鐵路與公車運輸；搭乘火車約五十分鐘可直達倫敦 - 國王十字車站 (London King's Cross)，亦可前往伯明翰、萊斯特、諾里奇等各大城市。距離劍橋最便捷的國際機場為倫敦史坦斯特機場 (London Stansted Airport)，自機場搭乘火車約三十分鐘即可至劍橋市中心。城市規劃許多自行車專用道，根據數據顯示約半數的居民使用自行車為代步交通工具，使之成為一座低碳率城市。劍橋市區規劃許多公園綠地，其中最具規模的為帕克公園 (Parker's Piece)，曾為多種球賽的競賽場地，四周圍繞公園道 (Park Terrace)、公園區 (Parkside)、岡維爾坊區 (Gonville Place) 和攝政道 (Regent Terrace)。劍橋擁有眾多著名地標，包含: 劍橋大學內的國王學院禮拜堂 (King's College Chapel)、劍橋大學圖書館 (Cambridge University Library)、卡文迪許實驗室 (Cavendish Laboratory)；於康河上撐船遊覽為最受歡迎的娛樂，於河上可觀賞城市的迷人風采，並沉浸於悠久的傳統歷史建築，深受遊客所喜愛。

學校設施

劍橋大學設立英國傳統的書院制度，書院將協助學生處理生活事宜、進行學術指導、安排各式體育和社交活動，進而使學生順利融入當地生活。各書院所擁有的宿舍區種類繁多，座落於城市各處，提供多元的房型選擇；住宿費用皆包含: 水電費、網路費、清潔費。此外，宿舍中心同時提供校外住宿資訊，並協助學生順利入住合適的宿舍。

• Causewayside: 位於市區的優美河堤旁，為一座典雅建築，擁有悠久的住宿傳統，提供44間公寓式房型，每間公寓提供2至3間房。
• George Nuttall Close: 位於城市北區，為一處寧靜的住宅區，提供30間公寓式房型，每間公寓提供2至3間房。宿舍區鄰近公車站，擁有便捷的交通可前往市中心與學校。
• North West Cambridge: 位於城市西北區，為一處現代的學生鬧區。宿舍提供多元的房型選擇，，同時鄰近公車站，擁有便捷的交通可前往市中心與學校。
• Southacre: 由數棟公寓式宿舍所組成的住宿區，距離市中心約一英里處，步行約15分鐘即可至市中心，同時鄰近公車站，擁有便捷的交通可前往市中心與學校。
