華威大學 (University of Warwick) 為英國頂尖大學之一，並為世界聞名遐邇的優質學府，以創新的研究評價、卓越的教育方針、以及與工商業界的緊密聯繫而聞名國際。自1965年成立以來，教學與研究聲望持續攀升，於英國、歐洲、乃至全球皆已建立優越的學術聲譽。創校歷史縱然不長，華威大學已多年位居英國前十大學府之列，同時位列英國大學知名的羅素集團 (Russell Group) 成員之一。
華威大學設置三大學院，分別為: 科學工程與醫學院、社會科學學院、藝術學院，開設三十三所部門、五十所研究中心，提供逾百項專業領域的學位課程、以及眾多學生社團，包含: 運動、學生報社、影視、電台等。華威大學聘請眾多優秀的專業教師，教學方針著重於師生間的交流，因此大學的師生比例低。華威大學每年招收約兩萬五千名學生，擁有嚴謹的審核制度與申請入學要求，為申請競爭相當激烈的學府。
華威大學座落於英國工業重鎮的考文垂市 (Coventry)，主校區距離市中心約三英里，鄰近該郡邊界，佔地逾七百英畝，劃分四大校區: 中央校區 (Central Campus)、吉比丘校區 (Gibbet Hill Campus)、西林科學園區 (Westwood and Science Park)、湖岸與林野校區 (Lakeside and Cryfield)。各校區風景如畫，鄰近景色宜人的湖區和森林，四周圍繞著風光明媚的鄉村地區；校區內擁有專業且新穎的學術與研究設備、優良的校園學習氛圍、以及完善的生活環境與交通樞紐。

環境介紹
考文垂市 (Coventry) 位於英國中部，座落於瑟伯恩河 (River Sherbourne)，搭乘火車約一小時車程可直達首都倫敦、約半小時可至鄰近的伯明罕市 (Birmingham)。考文垂市自中世紀時期便為英國最具規模且重要的城市之一，於十八世紀時期為英國前三座鐘表製造的知名城市，後期由於瑞士鐘錶的崛起，城市改以生產自行車、汽機車、航空工程而聞名，進而為城市帶來工程業的黃金時期，並於二十世紀躍身成為著名的汽車製造城市，同時為英國傑出的工程重鎮，國際間許多知名汽車皆產於此地，例如: 捷豹 (Jaguar Cars)。
考文垂市於第二次世界大戰遭受重創，戰後城市積極進行修復，陸續擴建住宅與工業區，並設立歐洲第一座徒步購物區、改建十四世紀的考文垂座堂 (Coventry Cathedral)，同時引入多元的建築設計風格，興建當地第一座清真寺。考文垂市擁有兩間大學，分別是位於市郊的華威大學 (University of Warwick) 與位於市中心的考文垂大學 (Coventry University)；前者以卓越的學術地位於國際間享有盛名，後者提供英國首屈的汽車工程學系與眾多業界實習課程，兩所大學皆栽培出許多業界知名人士，引領城市學習的氛圍。
考文垂市獲頒英國文化之城的榮譽，於市中心與城市周圍擁有許多知名的名勝古蹟，熱門地標包含: 城市最具規模的文創區-赫博藝廊與博物館 (Herbert Art Gallery and Museum)、全球最具規模的英國汽車製造博物館-考文垂運輸博物館 (Coventry Transport Museum)，後者開放民眾免費參觀，展示破紀錄的超音速推進號 (Thrust SSC)、各式古典車、汽車原型，參訪者可見識英國汽車工業的演進與輝煌時期。
學校設施
華威大學擁有國際化的校園，設立兩座圖書館，收藏近百萬冊書籍、以及五千冊的期刊與雜誌，館內規劃兩千個閱覽座位，並設置多媒體教學室、個人研究室、電腦資訊室，提供學生多元的學習空間。大學內的運動設施包含佔地六十英畝的室外體育場、專業室內游泳池、攀岩中心、以及設備完善的健身中心。
華威大學擁有一座知名的華威藝術中心 (Warwick Arts Centre)，該中心為英國中部最具規模的藝術中心，設有藝廊、劇院、電影院、演唱會場地，每月會舉辦優質的文藝表演。學生會組織近兩百個社團，包含: 運動、學生報社、影視、電台等。另外，校區內設置餐廳、酒吧、銀行、髮廊、書局、郵局、超市、藥妝店、生活用品店等，宛如一座具有規模的生活社區。
住宿相關
華威大學提供學生廣泛的住宿選擇，國際學生僅需於每年七月前提出宿舍申請，學校便保障第一年的住宿資格。學校宿舍提供傢俱齊全的生活設備、網路，並有專人每週清潔管理。各宿舍區提供不同房型選擇: 雅房 (共用衛浴、共用廚房)、套房 (個人衛浴、共用廚房)、獨立套房 (個人衛浴、個人廚房)。房間提供: 床、書椅、書櫃、衣櫥、枕頭棉被；共用廚房設有現代化的廚房設備，包含: 烹飪設備、冰箱、微波爐、烤箱、烤麵包機等，學生於自行烹飪美食的同時，可與同學交流，促進文化聯誼。
學校宿舍分為兩區域: 校內宿舍區 (On Campus)、校外宿舍區 (Off Campus/Partnership Accommodation)。校內宿舍區鄰近各學院；校外宿舍區位於市中心，學生需通勤約三十分鐘前往校區上課。
